Cirrus is back. Trading resumed on 5 October with static IP on every account. See what's new

Size every account’s order from one quantity

Set a multiplier on each account once. Switch on Use multiplier, enter the base quantity, and an account at 2.5 trades two and a half times what an account at 1.0 does.

A two-lot order with the multiplier switched on: each account's multiplier scales the lots it receives, from one lot to five.

How the multiplier works

One number per account decides how much of every order that account takes.

  1. 1

    Give each account a multiplier

In Account Manager, set a multiplier per account in steps of 0.1. 1.0 means the base quantity; 0.5 means half; 3.0 means three times.

  2. 2

Or set them from a base account

Choose one account as the base and let Auto set multiplier fill in the others relative to it. Reset puts every account back to 1.0.

  3. 3

    Switch on Use multiplier

On the order ticket or in a signal strategy. Enter the base quantity once.

  4. 4

Each account trades its own size

The base quantity is multiplied per account before the order goes to each broker.

Position sizing for accounts of different sizes

A family where each account holds different capital, trading the same 2-lot idea. You pick the multipliers; Cirrus does the arithmetic on every order.

Example: a 2-lot order with a different multiplier per account
AccountCapitalMultiplierLots for a 2-lot order
Your account₹5 lakh1.02
Spouse₹7.5 lakh1.53
Family HUF₹12.5 lakh2.55
Son₹2.5 lakh0.51

An illustration. Choose multipliers that suit each account’s capital and risk.

Where the multiplier applies

Anywhere one instruction should become different sizes in different accounts.

Manual orders
The Use multiplier switch on the order ticket applies it to that order.
TradingView, Chartink and Kuberhunt signals
Each strategy has its own switch, so an alert sized for one account sizes every account.
Not baskets
Baskets send the quantity you enter to every selected account. Use the ticket or a signal when sizes need to differ.

Questions traders ask

Can I set different multipliers for different accounts?

Yes. Every connected account has its own multiplier, and Cirrus applies each one independently when Use multiplier is on.

Can a multiplier be less than 1?

Yes. Multipliers go in steps of 0.1, so 0.5 sends half the base quantity to that account. That is useful for a smaller account that should follow the same trades.

Does the multiplier work with TradingView and Chartink alerts?

Yes. TradingView, Chartink and Kuberhunt strategies each have a Use multiplier switch, so one alert places a different size in each account.

How does Auto set multiplier work?

You pick a base account and Cirrus sets the other accounts’ multipliers relative to it. You can adjust any of them by hand afterwards, or reset all to 1.0.

Does a bigger multiplier skip margin checks?

No. Each account’s order goes to its own broker, which checks margin as usual. If an account can’t carry its size, that account’s order is rejected and the others continue.
