Algo trading on Dhan with Cirrus

Dhan links to Cirrus through Dhan's consent login: you approve access on Dhan's own page and come back with a live session. From then on Dhan is one more destination in the Cirrus order ticket, next to every other account you run.

How to connect Dhan

  1. In Cirrus, open Manager, choose Add broker and pick Dhan.

  2. Approve the consent request on Dhan's login page.

  3. Dhan redirects back to Cirrus, which completes the session.

  4. Sign in again each trading day, when the broker ends the previous session.

Whitelist the static IP

  1. In Cirrus Manager, assign a static IP to the Dhan account. Cirrus gives it a dedicated IPv6 address that no one else uses.

  2. Copy the IPv6 address shown for that account. That is the address the broker sees.

  3. Paste it into the DhanHQ API settings of your Dhan web account and save.

  4. Finish setup in Cirrus. From then on, every order to this account leaves from that address.
