How to connect Groww

Open the Groww Trade API keys page (it needs an active Groww Trading API subscription) and generate an API key and secret.

In Cirrus, open Manager, choose Add broker and pick Groww. Enter your Groww client ID, an account label and the API key and secret.

Add the static IP Cirrus shows for the account as the primary IP on the Groww API keys page.

Each trading day, approve API access on the Groww API keys page, then log in from Cirrus.
Whitelist the static IP

In Cirrus Manager, assign a static IP to the Groww account. Cirrus gives it a dedicated IPv6 address that no one else uses.

Copy the IPv6 address shown for that account. That is the address the broker sees.

Paste it into the Add static IP option on the Groww Trade API keys page and save.

Finish setup in Cirrus. From then on, every order to this account leaves from that address.

Yes. Groww only lets other platforms trade through a Trade API key you generate yourself. Create the key and secret on the Groww API keys page and paste them into Cirrus.
Was Groww free on Cirrus before?
Groww was on an earlier free-access list. That programme has ended, so Groww accounts now pay the standard account fee, with the IPv6 static IP included. Pocketful is the only free broker today.
Can I run algo trades on Groww through Cirrus?
Yes, within the SEBI rules that apply to every broker: API orders must come from a whitelisted static IP, and up to 10 orders per second per exchange need no separate algo registration.
