What you will need to add MotilalOswal account in Cirrus

Prerequisites

You need to have a Cirrus Account. If you don't have one, follow the LINK.

• You need to have an active Demat account in Motilal Oswal. If you don’t have an account, create one and activate F&O on your account.

You need XTS API activated on your Motilal Oswal account. Follow these steps:

• We need Client ID and API Key to add Motilal Oswal in Cirrus. Create an API App in the Motilal Oswal API Portal.

• Go to https://invest.motilaloswal.com/moAPI/Home/Login and log in with your credentials.

• Enter a random “App Name” and paste Redirect URL: https://cirrus.trade/add-broker-account/motilal-oswal. Leave Callback blank and click Create.

• Click on “My API” to see your created API. Copy the API Key and paste it into the Cirrus setup page.

• You’re all set—your Motilal Oswal integration with Cirrus is ready.

Passwords must be alphanumeric and 6 to 12 characters long. Special characters are allowed, but spaces are not.

Passwords expire every 14 days, prompting a mandatory reset. You can also change it anytime, but the new password must differ from the last eight used.
