What you will need to add ShareKhan account in Cirrus
- You need to have a Cirrus Account. If you don't have one, follow the LINK.
• You need to have an active Demat account in Share Khan. If you don’t have an account, create an account on Sharekhan. Make sure to activate F&O on your account
You need to have API activated on your Sharekhan account. Following are the steps for activating API:
• We need client ID and API Key to add Sharekhan in Cirrus. For API Key we need to create an API App in Sharekhan API Portal.
• Goto https://newtrade.sharekhan.com/skweb/login/trading-api and login with your credentials

• Once you logged in click on Create new App and enter the required app details use redirect url as:- https://cirrus.trade/add-broker-account/sharekhan

• Once the app is created copy the API key and API secure key that would be useful to add account in cirrus.

FAQs for ShareKhan
1. When will purchased shares reflect in my Demat account?
Shares bought today are credited to your Demat account on T+2 days, excluding weekends and holidays.
2. Will funds from sold shares be credited to my bank account automatically?
No, funds are credited to your trading ledger. You need to request a withdrawal to transfer them to your bank account.
3. How can I apply for an IPO on Sharekhan?
Go to the IPO section after logging in, select the IPO, fill in the details, enter your UPI ID, submit your bid, and authorize the payment via your UPI app.
4. What is loan against securities (LAF)?
LAF is a facility that lets you borrow funds using your existing shares or mutual funds as collateral, typically used to finance IPO applications or meet margin needs.
5. How can I activate e-contract notes instead of physical copies?
To receive electronic contract notes, submit a mandate form at any Sharekhan branch—e-contract notes become active within 7 working days.
6. How can I reset my membership (login) password?
Click on the 'Forgot Password' link on the login page, enter your Login ID and Captcha, receive an OTP via mobile or email, and follow the prompts to set a new password.
7. After how many incorrect attempts will my account get locked?
Your trading account is locked after three consecutive incorrect login attempts. You can unlock it via the 'Unlock Account' option or by contacting customer support.
8. How do I fund my account via net banking?
Log in, go to Accounts → Fund Transfer, choose the bank and amount, and complete the process through your bank’s net-banking portal. Funds will reflect instantly.
9. When will the funds transferred via NEFT/RTGS be credited?
Transfers made via RTGS or NEFT are credited within approximately four working hours after the bank confirms the transaction.
10. How do I activate Margin Trading Facility (MTF)?
Go to the Profile section on mobile or web, click Apply or accept the MTF consent button, and your account is enabled instantly or within 24 hours if assisted through a branch or relationship manager.
